Founded in 2020 by Ginelle Bess, the success of Honey I’m Home Nutritious Foods is a story of patience and perseverance. Originally from St. Louis, Bess moved back to her hometown in 2018, feeling unfulfilled and in search of the right outlet for her entrepreneurial spirit. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Bess took the long awaited chance on herself and started meal prepping for friends and family members full time. After receiving the positive feedback she was hoping for, Bess turned Honey I’m Home into a reality, but not without its fair share of tough transitions.

 

Nicole Stubblefield stumbled upon Honey I’m Home in 2020 and became a consistent client. Stubblefield was not only impressed by the quality of the food and service, but was shocked to learn that Bess had been running the operation on her own from top to bottom. After witnessing her undeniable drive from afar for months, she reached out to learn more and the two became fast friends.

 

While Stubblefield was on her own path at the time, the two had been seeking out opportunities to collaborate for years. In early 2023, the timing was finally right for the pair to pursue their passions together full time, and work together to build the next phase of Honey I’m Home.

 

Ginelle and Nicole thank you for being on this journey with them and can’t wait to see where it takes them next. For now, you can find Honey I’m Home on the road as a private meal prep service,  and in select stores in the St. Louis area. They also specialize in catering corporate lunches and intimate events. If there’s a need for delicious, nutritious food, they’re ready to elevate your experience.

Our standard meals come balanced with 3 to 5 ounces of protein and 3 ounces of vegetables.   We consult with nutritionists to ensure the meals are balanced and can fit a variety of diets including Keto and vegetarian. Contact us at sales@hihnf.com for more information.

We provide no contact delivery to do our part to ensure the health and safety of our community. Please let us know the safe location to place your food and we will communicate to you when it’s delivered. We adhere to the following practices, Good Manufacturing Practices outlined by the FDA code, which are required sanitary standards to produce safe and wholesome meals. We are also ServSafe certified and track safety across food handling, preparation, packaging and delivery. Our team members adhere to rules and policies regarding sanitizing to ensure safe food for you to enjoy. For other questions please contact safety@hihnf.com

To ensure food safety we disinfect surfaces daily, and during COVID-19 restrictions we have extended our practices to ensure our workers wear a mask, do a temperature check in daily, along with other potential COVID-19 symptoms to determine risk.  Elevated risk does not work that day.  Anyone exposed to COVID-19 quarantines until a demonstrated negative test.
